For enhanced safety, the front and rear seat shoulder belts of the Subaru Trailseeker have pretensioners to tighten the seatbelts and eliminate dangerous slack in the event of a collision. The Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback doesn’t offer pretensioners for its rear seat belts.

The Subaru Trailseeker has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Q6 e-tron Sportback doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Trailseeker has a standard front seat center airbag, which deploys between the driver and front passenger, protecting them from injuries caused by striking each other in serious side impacts. The Q6 e-tron Sportback doesn’t offer front seat center airbags.

The Trailseeker has standard Whiplash-Protection Front Seats, which use a specially designed headrest to protect the driver and front passenger from whiplash. During a rear-end collision, the Whiplash-Protection Front Seats system moves the headrests forward to prevent neck and spine injuries. The Q6 e-tron Sportback doesn’t offer a whiplash protection system.

Over 200 people are killed each year when backed over by motor vehicles. The Trailseeker has a standard Parking Support Brake that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The Q6 e-tron Sportback doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

When descending a steep, off-road slope, the Trailseeker’s standard Downhill Assist Control allows you to creep down safely. The Q6 e-tron Sportback doesn’t offer Downhill Assist Control.

To deliver safety and visibility under dusty conditions the Subaru Trailseeker’s backup monitor has a standard rear washer to keep the view clear. A camera washer system costs extra on the Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback.

Both the Trailseeker and the Q6 e-tron Sportback have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, post-collision automatic braking systems, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available around view monitors.

Subaru’s powertrain warranty covers the Trailseeker 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Audi covers the Q6 e-tron Sportback. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Q6 e-tron Sportback ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

There are over 2 times as many Subaru dealers as there are Audi dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Trailseeker’s warranty.

The Trailseeker is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the Q6 e-tron Sportback, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the Trailseeker offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the Q6 e-tron Sportback.

HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the Trailseeker equipped with HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The Q6 e-tron Sportback, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits. Selecting the Subaru Trailseeker empowers drivers to enjoy a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience while on the go.

The Subaru Trailseeker stands out above the Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback by offering not one, but two Qi-compatible phone chargers. This convenience helps travelers with multiple devices to keep powered up on-the-go. Wireless charging eliminates lost or cluttered charging cables and one of them provide more flexibility.

The Trailseeker Limited/Touring has a 115-volt a/c outlet in the cargo area, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The Q6 e-tron Sportback doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
